Arizona Minuteman (Group Bernie Sanders Voted To Protect) Found Guilty of Molesting Little Girl

It is no secret that Bernie Sanders and the Minuteman Militia: "Progressive Hero" Voted to Protect Racist Vigilante Border Thugs. Yet despite Hillary Clinton making U.S. History for being the first woman to clinch the nomination of a major party system, Arizona Chicano / Latino officials cannot seem to bring themselves out of their Bernie or Bust funk. It doesn't matter to them how a little Arizona girl by the name of Brisenia Flores was shot and killed in front of her mother by a Minuteman vigilante a few years after Sanders made a symbolic vote to protect the racist groups.

According to the Boston Globe:

A review of the vote in question shows that Sanders, as a U.S. representative in 2006, did indeed vote in support of 2006 legislation supporting civilian border patrols under the Minuteman Project banner. The amendment, authored by then-Representative Jack Kingston, a Republican, aimed to prevent U.S. border officials from telling Mexican officials about the whereabouts of the Minutemen patrols.

“What my amendment does is simply says that the U.S. Government cannot tip off the Mexican officials as to where these folks are located,” Kingston said on the House floor in 2006.

 According to the People's View:

[Bernie Sanders] is on the record supporting the vigilante and racist border militia group 'The Minuteman Project'.

... The amendment to the Homeland Security Appropriations bill read such (link to text in Congressional record):

None of the funds made available by this Act may be used to provide a foreign government information relating to the activities of an organized volunteer civilian action group, operating in the State of California, Texas, New Mexico, or Arizona, unless required by international treaty.

Fast forward to what happened today, when  the co-founder of the Arizona Minuteman Group was found guilty today for molesting a little girl.

According to the Daily News:

An Arizona jury on Wednesday convicted a founder of the Minuteman border-watch group of molesting one young girl, but it acquitted him of engaging in sexual conduct with another.

Christopher Allen Simcox was found guilty on charges that he molested a 5-year-old girl and showed her pornography. He was acquitted of the more serious charges that he engaged in sexual conduct with a 6-year-old girl.

A molestation conviction carries a sentence of 10 to 24 years in prison. Simcox, 55, is scheduled to be sentenced on July 5.

Prosecutors alleged that Simcox molested the younger girl and engaged in sexual conduct with the older girl during an 11-month period ending in May 2013.

I am disappointed in Arizona State Senator Martin Quezada who is a "Hispanic" official I used to support, who cannot seem to bring himself to get behind Hillary Clinton for President after her historic win last night. Quezada's tweet today should make the Democratic Party proud, considering Bernie Sanders' supporters are encouraging protests of the Democratic Party Convention.  For the record, Quezada's  tweet (below) doesn't make any sense regarding "party unity" considering Quezada touts an endorsement by the County Democratic Party. And Quezada agreeing with Rep. Grijalva when the congressman said "Bernie Can't Give Up" is a stupid remark that points to some of the men in our state who have issues with strong independent women that are not easily manipulated and controlled by them.   Perhaps it would be a good time for Amanda Aguirre to consider running again against Grijalva in 2018. As for Quezada, his opponent is Lydia Hernandez who has been a supporter of Hillary Clinton in 2016.

Grijalva in the USA TODAY stated:

There’s been a lot of talk about Democratic unity lately, and a lot of it has missed the point. Unity doesn’t mean Sanders closes up shop tomorrow and takes back everything he said.

Actually, the Sanders' campaign should take back the dishonest things they said about Hillary. And Grijalva is only half right, not only should Sanders not just give up and go home,  he should get behind Hillary Clinton's historic nomination to defeat Trump, under her hard earned leadership.

Instead of Quezada dabbing in Presidential cycles, he ought to apologize for voting against adding the much needed polling places we need in Maricopa County. His vote was thankfully cancelled out by the likes of Arizona State Senators Catherine Miranda and Robert Meza.

Above:  Arizona State Senate Votes on HB 2017 on April 20, 2016.  Quezada voted "Nay" on adding more polling places.

Hopefully, Grijalva, Quezada and other "Hispanic" lawmakers will withdraw their support for Bernie Sanders as President soon since it is clear Hillary Clinton won a historic nomination for the Democratic Party.
