Why is Donald Trump Rewarding Saddam Hussein Who Paid For The Jewish To Be Killed?

POSTED ON
July 06

Just in case Trump never received the memo, Israel is a United States ally.

Last week we witnessed the Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump attack Hillary Clinton with an anti-Semitic angle. According to the Huffington Post:

Donald Trump tweeted a blatantly anti-Semitic image Saturday morning, causing an immediate backlash online and further confirming the Republican nominee is willing to sink to depths well beyond usual, acceptable bounds of politics.

The tweet, posted at roughly 8:30 a.m., featured a picture of Hillary Clinton pasted over a backdrop of $100 bills with a six-pointed star — the Jewish Star of David — next to her face.

Today on CNN, we witnessed Trump giving Saddam Hussein praise for "Killing Terrorists," but what Trump doesn't know is Saddam Hussein paid suicide bombers to kill the Jewish people.

According to CBS News:

Iraqi President Saddam Hussein has raised the amount offered to relatives of suicide bombers from $10,000 per family to $25,000, U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld said Wednesday.

Since Iraq upped its payments last month, 12 suicide bombers have successfully struck inside Israel, including one man who killed 25 Israelis, many of them elderly, as they sat down to a meal at a hotel to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Passover. The families of three suicide bombers said they have recently received payments of $25,000.

Palestinians say the bombers are driven by a priceless thirst for revenge, religious zeal and dreams of glory — not greed.

Mahmoud Safi, leader of a pro-Iraqi Palestinian group, the Arab Liberation Front, acknowledged that the support payments for relatives make it easier for some potential bombers to make up their minds. "Some people stop me on the street, saying if you increase the payment to $50,000 I'll do it immediately," Safi said. He also suggested such remarks were made mostly in jest.

Saddam has said the Palestinians need weapons and money instead of peace proposals and has provided payments throughout a year and a half of Israeli-Palestinian battles. "I saw on Iraqi TV President Saddam saying he will continue supporting the (uprising) even if it means selling his own clothes," said Safi.

Whomever is advising Donald Trump appears to be anti-Semitic as all hell.  I believe Trump's anti-Jewish message is linked to the John Tanton Network.

Kudos to bipartisanship and Sens. Chuck Schumer & John McCain for Reviving Immigration Reform

POSTED ON
July 06

Registered independent voters, take note that fixing the broken system has been needed for decades.  Thank you Sens. Chuck Schumer and John McCain.

From POLITICO:

Lindsey Graham doesn't sugarcoat his prediction: Republicans are going to get thrashed in the November election, especially among Latinos. And it’s going to trigger another run at immigration reform in Congress next year, the South Carolina senator says.

“I’ll tell you what I’m going to do in 2017,” the plainspoken GOP deal maker said in a recent interview. “I’m going to take the Gang of Eight bill out, dust it off and ask anybody and everybody who wants to work with me to make it better to do so.”

Graham isn't the only one eyeing a revival of the Gang of Eight, the bipartisan group of senators that shepherded a sweeping immigration bill through the Senate three years ago only to watch it stall in the House a year later. Propelled by a Republican establishment eager to make inroads with minority voters after losing them by steep margins in the 2012 election, it was the closest Congress came in a generation to overhauling the nation’s immigration laws,

Several influential lawmakers see another opening for immigration reform in 2017, especially if Hillary Clinton wins and the GOP takes another hit among Latinos. Mitt Romney was hammered for his “self-deportation” rhetoric four years ago. But that pales in comparison to Donald Trump’s vow to remove 11 million immigrants here illegally and calling Mexicans who cross the border illegally “rapists” and “murderers.”

Gang of Eight leader Chuck Schumer is poised to become majority leader if Democrats take the Senate this year. And the New York senator already said immigration reform would be a top priority, most recently in an interview last week. The recent Supreme Court deadlock that left President Barack Obama’s controversial executive actions on hold demonstrated that, for now, major changes to the nation’s immigration policy will have to come from Capitol Hill.

Republicans are also under increasing pressure to act. Several GOP senators from Latino-heavy states — such as David Perdue of Georgia and Thom Tillis of North Carolina — were elected in 2014 and are eager to dig into the issue.

Karl Rove's anti-Hillary Benghazi email attacks backfire

POSTED ON
July 05

It is no secret that Republican operative and former President George W. Bush's advisor Karl Rove began the Benghazi attacks against Hillary Clinton with his CrossRoads Political Action Committee (PAC).

Hell, his own fellow conservative colleague rebuked Rove's low and dirty blows.

According to the Raw Story:

Conservative Weekly Standard editor Bill Kristol is lashing out at Karl Rove and his American Crossroads super PAC for using last year’s attacks in Benghazi to attack former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton ahead of the 2016 presidential race.  ...  Kristol pointed to a web video released by American Crossroads last week that attacked Clinton for allegedly participating in a Benghazi “cover up.”

“I do not like the conservative Republican groups putting ads up about Hillary Clinton,” he said. “What is the point of that? That is just fundraising by American Crossroads and these other groups. It’s ridiculous! There’s no campaign going on!”

That said, Dick Cheney, Karl Rove have had their millions of email problems.

According to PBS:

In 2007, when Congress asked the Bush administration for emails surrounding the firing of eights U.S. attorneys, Attorney General Alberto Gonzales revealed that many of the emails requested could not be produced because they were sent on a non-government email server.  The officials had used the private domain gwb43.com, a server run by the Republican National Committee. Two years later, it was revealed that potentially 22 million emails were deleted, which was considered by some to be a violation of the Presidential Records Act.

However, today the F.B.I. Director James Comey recommends 'No Charges' for Hillary Clinton on email controversy.

According to the New York Times:

The F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, said on Tuesday that the bureau would not recommend criminal charges in Hillary Clinton’s handling of classified information, lifting an enormous legal cloud from her presidential campaign, hours before her first joint campaign appearance with President Obama.

But Mr. Comey rebuked Mrs. Clinton as being “extremely careless” in using a personal email address and server for sensitive information, declaring that an ordinary government official could have faced administrative sanction for such conduct.

To warrant a criminal charge, Mr. Comey said, there had to be evidence that Mrs. Clinton intentionally sent or received classified information — something that the F.B.I. did not find. “Our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case,” he said at a news conference.

Thumbs up to Muslim world condemning Saudi holy site bombing

POSTED ON
July 05

All religions have their good and bad. All of them. And if you hear otherwise, they are full of shit. The extremists that are Muslim are trying to unify the non-violent Muslims into their agenda through fear which is what happened in Saudi last night. But Muslim leaders all over the world are condemning the extremists. Watch the Vladimir Putin-loving Donald Trumputo pervert what is happening. Trump in power is very dangerous, and despite the 25% chance of him winning the Presidency (prediction by Nate Silver), we cannot rest until we hear he has ZERO percent chance of obtaining power as US leader.

Saudi security personnel gather at the site of the suicide attack near the Prophet's Mosque in Medina, on July 4, 2016

Riyadh (AFP) - A deadly suicide bombing near Islam's second-holiest site in the Saudi city of Medina sparked condemnation across the Muslim world Tuesday, with even the Taliban and Hezbollah denouncing the attack.

Four people were killed in the bombing near the Prophet's Mosque that came as Muslims prepared for this week's Eid al-Fitr festival marking the end of the holy fasting month of Ramadan.

The attack near the mosque -- where the Prophet Mohammed is buried and which attracts millions of pilgrims each year -- was one of three in the Sunni-ruled kingdom on Monday.

There were no claims of responsiblity for the bombings in Medina, Jeddah and the eastern city of Qatif, but the Islamic State group had urged its supporters to carry out attacks during Ramadan.

The Sunni extremists have claimed or been blamed for a wave of shootings and bombings during Ramadan, including in Orlando, Bangladesh, Istanbul and Baghdad.

The Saudi interior ministry said officers became suspicious of a man heading for the mosque through a parking lot.

"As they tried to stop him, he blew himself up with an explosive belt causing his death and the death of four police," it said, adding five others were wounded.

The targeting of Medina caused shock and outrage across Islam's religious divide.

Shiite power Iran called for Muslim unity and the Afghan Taliban branded it "gruesome".

"There are no more red lines left for terrorists to cross. Sunnis, Shiites will both remain victims unless we stand united as one," Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif tweeted.

The Taliban said it "condemns this incident in the strongest of terms and considers it an act of enmity and hatred towards Islamic rituals."

Lebanon-based Shiite militant group Hezbollah -- which Riyadh accuses of supporting "terrorist acts" in the region -- also denounced it as "a new sign of the terrorists' contempt for all that Muslims consider sacred."

- Attack on Islam itself -

The United Nations said it was an attack on all Muslims.

Arizona State Senator Quezada Should Apologize to #LGBT Member Cesar Chavez For "Lipstick" Attack

POSTED ON
June 28
Somos Independents is a woman-led organization that focuses on signaling to key swing independent voters towards moderate / centrist views.   We do not believe in extreme views, and we put people needs before party needs.  We do not believe in persons who attack members of protected classes, and we believe Arizona State Senator Quezada owes Cesar Chavez an apology for his "lipstick" attack (who is a member of the LGBT community).

Cesar Chavez is running for Arizona State Representative.  Cesar Chavez is the most qualified to represent the undocumented community, speaks fluent Spanish, is Gay and a Chicano/Latino who is a product of public education in his own district. However,  Arizona State Senator Martin Quezada made it clear he would not support Chavez from day one and instead supports someone who is married to Monical Pimental who is also the Chair of Precinct Committeemen for LD29 in light of his colleague and newly ousted State Rep. Ceci Velasquez recently indicted on welfare-fraud charges.

When the time came for Senator Martín J. Quezada  to support a Cesar Chavez who is member of the #‎LGBT community -- he chose not to, and instead made a lipstick attack against him on twitter today.  Sen. Quezada (an avid Bernie Sanders supporter) essentially calls César Chávez a "fake Democrat" which is something taken from the Bernie Sanders campaign when supporters referred to Hillary Clinton as a fake Democrat or a Barry Goldwater Republican.   Quezada's "fake Democrat" remarks are reminiscent of when Tea Party Republicans refer to moderate Republicans as "Republican In Name Only (RINO)."  Quezada has no standing to call anyone a fake Democrat considering he asked Somos Republicans to pull strings with the Maricopa County Republican Supervisor leadership when a seat was made available and was vacant.

The Cesar Chavez campaign told our organization while he was out collecting 700 signatures from his own district, Quezada more than likely used political cronyism to promote Marshall Pimentel who is married to Monica Gallardo Pimentel who is the CHAIR of precinct committeemen.   Hence, Marshall won by only 5 votes (vote was 12 - 7).  Never mind the 700 signatures Cesar Chavez collected. On Twitter, Quezada claims Marhsall Pimental helped his LD29 team collect signatures, but also failed to disclose Pimental helped collect signatures for Velasquez --  a felon Quezada helped get elected. Most in the public did not know about the felony charges, however, Quezada did know about Velasquez's fraudulent situation and continued to support her as an Arizona representative anyway.

At this stage in the Arizona political game, it would be smart for Quezada to avoid political cronyism considering he knowingly supported a felon for Arizona State legislature and has an Open Meeting Violation Complaint filed against him and is being investigated by Attorney General Mark Brnovich's office.  We used to support Quezada for office but we are unable to considering the open meeting law violation complaint made against him by Larry Nolen.  Nolen was a teacher in an Arizona school district for 25 years and a member of the teacher's association for at least 15 years.  He was also a past President of Pendergast Federation of School Employees for 8 years, but also served as Vice President of the federation for 4 years.

Cesar Chavez is the most qualified to represent the undocumented community, speaks fluent Spanish, is Gay and Chicano/Latino who is a product of public education. Chavez went to school in the district while Pimental did not. As such, Cesar Chavez has our full endorsement for Arizona State Representative. He has no political baggage and seems humble and contrite enough to serve as a public servant for the State of Arizona. We cannot turn a blind eye to felons as Quezada did, and we cannot support criminal activity.  Quezada is supposed to be a member of the Arizona Bar Association, and he should conduct himself accordingly, because as it stands it appears that he has allowed politcal power to go to his head and he seems to have turned corrupt.

Chicana / Latina Statement Regarding Breaking U.S. Supreme Court splits 4-4 On Immigration Case News

Phoenix, AZ -- Somos Independents is a woman-led organization that focuses on signaling to key swing independent voters towards moderate / centrist views.   We do not believe in extreme views, and we put people needs before party needs.
According to the Associated Press:

“A tie vote by the Supreme Court is blocking President Barack Obama's immigration plan that sought to shield millions living in the U.S. illegally from deportation.”

It is a very sad day in America today for millions of mixed-status families. In U.S. v. Texas, the Court’s 4 to 4 split decision stopped the enactment of Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents (DAPA) because the GOP failed to allow the appointment of the 9th U.S. Supreme Justice. It is inconceivable how the States even had standing to bring this suit in the first place. The U.S. Supreme Court could have easily dismissed the case outright because clearly the Plaintiff-States lacked ‘standing’ to file that case in the first place. In addition, it is quite questionable whether the Plaintiff-States even had a ‘legal stake’ in the case. Having said all that, we want to assure all current and future Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients (qualified under the 2012 DACA guidelines) that the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in U.S. v. Texas today does NOT affect you.

Finally, to our DREAMER friends,  DACA will continue to have to be renewed every two years.

Omaha.Com: Chairman resigns, many Bernie Sanders supporters apologize for 'disrespectful' role in Latino caucus election

POSTED ON
June 23

Co-founder Shirl Mora James (pro Hillary supporter) was at the helm of this issue and fought for Marta Nieves along with several others.

From Omaha.com:

Chairman resigns, many Bernie Sanders supporters apologize for 'disrespectful' role in Latino caucus election

A cadre of young Bernie Sanders backers in Nebraska learned this week that it isn’t right to play politics with Latinos.

During last weekend’s Democratic State Convention, the Sanders group was accused of being “paternalistic” and exhibiting “white privilege” after it engineered the ouster of a longtime Latino leader in favor of a Sanders supporter as chairman of a Latino-centered caucus.

Many of those in the Sanders group were young, white and male. And many of them apologized profusely during an emotional meeting Tuesday with Latino leaders in South Omaha.

The meeting ended with the Sanders supporter stepping down as chairman and allowing the longtime leader of the Latino caucus to resume the helm.

“It was disrespectful. It really was. From the bottom of my heart, I want to apologize,” said Nate Gadrinski, 29, a Sanders supporter from Omaha. “It is clear you don’t want your allies making decisions for you.”

The controversy erupted at the convention, where the Sanders camp aggressively flexed its delegate strength to try to take over as many leadership posts within the party as it could. Sanders won Nebraska’s Democratic caucuses in March and was awarded more state delegates than Hillary Clinton, the party’s presumptive presidential nominee.

Among the Sanders camp’s targets: the party’s many special-interest caucuses. These caucuses or committees were formed years ago to give groups such as Latinos, women and the LGBT community — groups that often felt their voices were not being heard within the party — a structure to discuss their interests.

Several convention-goers reported seeing a group of 15 to 25 Sanders supporters darting in and out of caucus meetings at the convention, trying to exert influence.

At the Latino caucus, the Sanders group flooded the meeting just as the vote for chairman was about to take place. Marta Nieves, who’s been active in the organization for more than five years, was running for re-election. However, the Sanders supporters preferred Adrian Sanchez, head of the Nebraska Latino Commission.

In about five minutes, Sanchez was elected, the Sanders supporters left the room and Nieves could not believe what had happened.

Nieves and others argued later that those who voted for Sanchez violated the group’s bylaws. Non-Latinos are allowed to join the caucus, but only members — those who have attended before and have paid dues — are allowed to cast a vote in leadership races.

No one raised an objection that day. Nieves said she was too shocked to do so.

It didn’t take long, however, for a backlash to build within the Latino Democratic community, whose members were outraged that a mostly non-Latino group of Sanders backers had chosen their new leader. On social media, they began to fire broadsides at Sanchez and Sanders supporters.

That prompted Tuesday’s meeting. About seven or eight Sanders supporters and about 25 Latinos gathered at El Alamo restaurant in South Omaha.

Initially, the Sanders backers appeared ready to defend the vote. One said he viewed himself as an “ally” of the Latino community who was simply trying to get more involved with the caucus. And Sanchez initially refused to resign, arguing that the vote should stand.

However, as the night wore on and speaker after speaker lambasted the “dirty” trick at the convention, the Sanders supporters and Sanchez began to have a change of heart.

Nieves told the Sanders supporters that they were “alienating” people who have been working within the Democratic Party for years.

“You guys are all excited about being progressive and you knock the hell out of people who are (also) progressive and who have been around a while,” Nieves said. “You guys ran all over the place just to be in charge, and you don’t even know what that means.”

Dale Gutierrez, who identified himself as a Iraq War veteran, asked the Sanders supporters why they thought it was a good idea to try to make decisions for the Latino community.

“Do you know what it’s like to be Latino? Do any of you?” he asked.

Bernie Sanders is finding it difficult to concede after Hillary Clinton's historic win

POSTED ON
June 09

Bernie Sanders finished speaking after meeting with President Obama moments ago.  In my opinino, a timeline will more than likely be one where Bernie will concede AFTER the D.C. election. I think Clintonistas can suspect Bernie Sanders is wanting  to save face and ego by finishing out the last DC primary run (which is next Tuesday). Keep in mind that Bernie is still sending emails out there asking for donations, so this will be the last of him asking for Presidential candidacy money soon. This past Tuesday was the final #‎SuperTuesday where multiple key states such as New Jersey, Cali and New Mexico had their elections.  There is one final state to go -- Washington D.C.

I thought it was interesting how Bernie did NOT want to take any questions, and we do know that he will be meeting with our gal Hillary Clinton after the D.C. primary.

More than likely the long time independent will go back to being a registered Independent when he runs and focuses his campaign energy on his own Senate seat. Time will let us see the collateral damage he created for the Democratic Party when all is said and done. Everyone knows (or should know by now) that Bernie repeated far right wing talking points, and the likes of Karl Rove's PACs helped Bernie's campaign. The Republican donations did not help Bernie spoil it for Hillary though. While the Republican Party was hijacked by the likes of Trump, the Democratic Party leadership did not allow the long time Independent to completely ruin it for them in 2016.

For the record, Somos Independents is an organization led by independent registered women -- a former long life registered Democrat voter (via Shirl Mora James), and a former long life registered Republican voter (via DeeDee Garcia Blase) who have come together to organize key swing moderate independent voters.  We are not part of the fringe groups.  Though Bernie Sanders is a registered Independent Senator from Vermont, we cannot support his extremism after he touted being a self proclaimed socialist. Sanders is quoted as having heroes such as Eugene Debs and praised the likes of Fidel Castro and we reject those ideas here.  Just the same, we do not support bigotry we see coming from the likes of the Republican nominee Donald Trump who received lavish praises from the Russian President Vladimir Putin.  Donald Trump also received praise from Fidel Castro when Fidel said:

In one of his usual reflections, the former Cuban President Fidel Castro thanked Donald Trump the statements in favor of the resumption of relations between Cuba and the United States.

“Es de gran político y de buen norteamericano, comprender que la amistad indestructible entre Cuba y la hermana Patria de Lincoln, es irreversible. Donald, Usted es un patriota y cuando venga a Cuba le entregaremos la Orden Nacional José Martí, y el título de Héroe de la República de Cuba”

Somos Independents is an organization who has supported Hillary Clinton since before she officially announced she would run for President.  We believe she has the experience to lead our Nation, and we are signalling to moderate and centrist voters to make the reasonable choice in backing Hillary for President.

How Can Reince and the RNC Support Donald Trump Who Has Zero Political Experience With Draft Deferment?

POSTED ON
June 08

It's no wonder former KGB Russian President Vladimir Putin lavished Republican Nominee Donald Trump with praises.  Certainly the Russian Kremlin would love to see a man with a cowardly draft deferment past become the President of the United States.

According to POLITICO:

The New York billionaire, who was a genuine student-athlete in his youth, came away with a medical deferment in 1968 owing to bone spurs in both heels, according to his latest explanation. But in seeking to downplay that exemption as “minor” and “short-term,” Trump’s campaign raises more questions than it answers as to how he sidestepped military service during the war.

That said, how can the Republican Party save face knowing they have a nominee who dodged the draft and who has no political experience? In fact, earlier this year, Donald Trump made a decision to choose an adviser with deep ties to the Kremlin’s Gazprom.
According to Bloomberg Politics:
Over the course of his campaign, Trump has been a contrarian on Russia, floating the idea of reducing the American commitment to NATO and calling Russian President Vladimir Putin  a “strong leader.” “I think I would have a very good relationship with Putin,” he said last year. So it makes sense that Trump tapped Page for his foreign-policy team. In writings posted online, Page is a reliable defender of Russian intentions, and portrays U.S. policymakers as stuck in an outdated Cold War mindset.
Keep in mind that the Russian President Vladamir Putin (former KGB spy) earlier this year named the US as a national security threat.

Chairman Reince Priebus is going to have to swallow a huge hard vodka pill considering in 2015, the GOP spread myths and launched attacks against Secretary Hillary Clinton with regard to Russia.  However,  considering their Republican nominee (Trump) chose a top adviser with deep ties to the Kremlin --  it looks like the RNC may want to begin scrubbing their Russian myths off of their website, and add Trump's Russian adviser information instead.  Furthermore, late last year, Donald Trump lavished praise on Putin.

[Autocrat] Putin: I can’t tell you, Donald, how happy I am that you are vowing to do for your country what I have done for mine.

According to CNN:

Donald Trump on Friday praised Vladimir Putin and appeared to defend the autocratic Russian president when pressed about his alleged killing of journalists and political opponents critical of his rule.

One day after Putin called Trump a "bright and talented" and the "absolute leader of the presidential race," the Republican presidential front-runner returned the compliments, hailing Putin as a "leader" and pointing to his high favorability numbers in Russia.

It's no wonder a Republican Colonel in our Armed Forces is getting behind Hillary Clinton for President.  Watch the video here.

The retired Colonel stated:

A longtime Republican and former top adviser to Gen. David Petraeus in Iraq said Wednesday that he was voting for Hillary Clinton because "Donald Trump is not fit to be president." "He would be a dangerous person in that office," retired Army Col. Peter Mansoor told Anderson Cooper on CNN. "He would alienate many of America's long-standing allies, can't be trusted on the nuclear trigger, lacks character — and the foundation of knowledge necessary to be an effective president." Mansoor, 56, was Petraeus' executive officer throughout the war in Baghdad, particularly the 2007 troop surge.

According to Observer, Donald Trump's remarks regarding Putin and NATO could hurt him come general election time.

The Observer writes:

For these countries, U.S. allies concerned about Russian aggression and anxious to strengthen their alliances with the West, Trump’s comments questioning NATO are uniquely disarming.

This statement on ABC News This Week is the strongest and clearest expression of this sentiment by the GOP nominee: “What I’m saying is NATO is obsolete. NATO is, is obsolete and it’s extremely expensive for the United States, disproportionately so. And we should readjust NATO.” These statements are part of Mr. Trump’s America First foreign policy that seems to be based upon limiting immigration, limiting trade agreements and, in general, charting an isolationist course for the U.S..

Mr. Trump may come to regret his comments about NATO, and his demonstrably less than iron clad commitment to the alliance and its principles. Mr. Trump’s oddly positive views about Russian President Vladimir Putin may also come back to haunt him.

Russian President Vladimir Putin's KGB past helped shape his autocratic rule.  Something Trump is striving for.

Arizona Minuteman (Group Bernie Sanders Voted To Protect) Found Guilty of Molesting Little Girl

POSTED ON
June 08

It is no secret that Bernie Sanders and the Minuteman Militia: "Progressive Hero" Voted to Protect Racist Vigilante Border Thugs. Yet despite Hillary Clinton making U.S. History for being the first woman to clinch the nomination of a major party system, Arizona Chicano / Latino officials cannot seem to bring themselves out of their Bernie or Bust funk. It doesn't matter to them how a little Arizona girl by the name of Brisenia Flores was shot and killed in front of her mother by a Minuteman vigilante a few years after Sanders made a symbolic vote to protect the racist groups.

According to the Boston Globe:

A review of the vote in question shows that Sanders, as a U.S. representative in 2006, did indeed vote in support of 2006 legislation supporting civilian border patrols under the Minuteman Project banner. The amendment, authored by then-Representative Jack Kingston, a Republican, aimed to prevent U.S. border officials from telling Mexican officials about the whereabouts of the Minutemen patrols.

“What my amendment does is simply says that the U.S. Government cannot tip off the Mexican officials as to where these folks are located,” Kingston said on the House floor in 2006.

 According to the People's View:

[Bernie Sanders] is on the record supporting the vigilante and racist border militia group 'The Minuteman Project'.

... The amendment to the Homeland Security Appropriations bill read such (link to text in Congressional record):

None of the funds made available by this Act may be used to provide a foreign government information relating to the activities of an organized volunteer civilian action group, operating in the State of California, Texas, New Mexico, or Arizona, unless required by international treaty.

Fast forward to what happened today, when  the co-founder of the Arizona Minuteman Group was found guilty today for molesting a little girl.

According to the Daily News:

An Arizona jury on Wednesday convicted a founder of the Minuteman border-watch group of molesting one young girl, but it acquitted him of engaging in sexual conduct with another.

Christopher Allen Simcox was found guilty on charges that he molested a 5-year-old girl and showed her pornography. He was acquitted of the more serious charges that he engaged in sexual conduct with a 6-year-old girl.

A molestation conviction carries a sentence of 10 to 24 years in prison. Simcox, 55, is scheduled to be sentenced on July 5.

Prosecutors alleged that Simcox molested the younger girl and engaged in sexual conduct with the older girl during an 11-month period ending in May 2013.

I am disappointed in Arizona State Senator Martin Quezada who is a "Hispanic" official I used to support, who cannot seem to bring himself to get behind Hillary Clinton for President after her historic win last night. Quezada's tweet today should make the Democratic Party proud, considering Bernie Sanders' supporters are encouraging protests of the Democratic Party Convention.  For the record, Quezada's  tweet (below) doesn't make any sense regarding "party unity" considering Quezada touts an endorsement by the County Democratic Party. And Quezada agreeing with Rep. Grijalva when the congressman said "Bernie Can't Give Up" is a stupid remark that points to some of the men in our state who have issues with strong independent women that are not easily manipulated and controlled by them.   Perhaps it would be a good time for Amanda Aguirre to consider running again against Grijalva in 2018. As for Quezada, his opponent is Lydia Hernandez who has been a supporter of Hillary Clinton in 2016.

Grijalva in the USA TODAY stated:

There’s been a lot of talk about Democratic unity lately, and a lot of it has missed the point. Unity doesn’t mean Sanders closes up shop tomorrow and takes back everything he said.

Actually, the Sanders' campaign should take back the dishonest things they said about Hillary. And Grijalva is only half right, not only should Sanders not just give up and go home,  he should get behind Hillary Clinton's historic nomination to defeat Trump, under her hard earned leadership.

Instead of Quezada dabbing in Presidential cycles, he ought to apologize for voting against adding the much needed polling places we need in Maricopa County. His vote was thankfully cancelled out by the likes of Arizona State Senators Catherine Miranda and Robert Meza.

Above:  Arizona State Senate Votes on HB 2017 on April 20, 2016.  Quezada voted "Nay" on adding more polling places.

Hopefully, Grijalva, Quezada and other "Hispanic" lawmakers will withdraw their support for Bernie Sanders as President soon since it is clear Hillary Clinton won a historic nomination for the Democratic Party.
