Charles Hos Hoskins hired the ousted Russell Pearce after Pearce was recalled by Arizona voters.
The controversial bigot who was ousted as an Arizona State Senator via Russell Pearce recently stepped down as the 1st Vice Chair of the Arizona Republican Party. Maricopa County independent registered voters are now asking Maricopa County Treasurer Charles "Hos" Hoskins to have Russell Pearce step down for incompetence.
According to the New York Times:
The former Arizona lawmaker who sponsored the state’s stringent anti-immigration law resigned as a top state Republican official late Sunday amid criticism for remarks he made supporting mandatory birth control or sterilization for Medicaid recipients.
Russell Pearce, a former state senator, stepped down as the party’s first vice chairman late Sunday, after several fellow Republicans running for statewide office denounced his comments and a Republican congressional candidate called for his resignation.
According to the AZ CENTRAL:
Maricopa County Treasurer Charles "Hos" Hoskins needed someone who could "organize and direct a large and complex department." Someone who "performs complex professional, administrative and managerial tasks." Someone who "analyzes complex operating data and statistics".
In other words, he needed someone "complex".
Citizens of Maricopa County, meet your newest employee: Russell Pearce.
Yep, that Russell Pearce.
Or as I call him, ex-Sen. Triple Dip, junketeer extraordinaire.
Having been fired from his last government job before entering politics and recalled from his last government job since entering politics, this champion of smaller government has now been hired by to oversee technical services in the county treasurer's office.
Hoskins is in his 3rd term, (due for re-election each 4 yrs) where his position will be up for election come 2016. Perhaps it is a good idea for Hoskins to be recalled for this Russell Pearce "hire" -- a man who was already ousted and recalled by Arizona voters before. Hoskins has no business employing a man Arizona voters have already rejected. Shame on Hoskins.
