After Weeks of Being Denied Access to Detained Refugee Children, Arizona Advocates and Legal Experts to Give Crucial Update on Children’s Whereabouts


Nogales, AZ – For weeks, Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) and CBP Commissioner Kerlikowske blocked advocates and legal experts from contacting the thousands of children detained in Nogales. Today, advocates will speak about the CBP’s concerted effort to deny these children access to basic legal rights and where these children are in the deportation process.
