Will Texas Land Commissioner via George P. Bush Fix Cisnero Family Land Disputes?
Alex Ruiz, a/k/a David Alejandro Ruiz has been getting the Texas runaround with regard to land his family owns. This is not your ordinary land grant issue …. nay, this story has to do with the Cisnero family who has possession of the land title deed.
Ruiz reached out to George P. Bush who is now the head of the Texas General Land Office to no avail, so when the time comes for the Republican National Committee or the GOP to reach out to “Hispanic / Latino” voters come 2016 with George P. Bush as the brown pawn — we will be right here to remind Chicanos and Latinos how George P. Bush dropped the ball as Texas Land Commissioner when an influential Texas family member sought professional public servant advice.
Ruiz also contacted Senator John Cornyn’s office with regard to the land title his family owns dating back to 1792. Sen. Cornyn’s office pointed Ruiz to the General Land Office — getting more bureaucracy.
Ruiz has been persistent and has been following the land sale(s) that rightfully belong to the Cisnero family. Recently Texas House Bill 724 eventually led nowhere during the 84TH Legislative Session but we now have on record an elitist attorney for Kennedy and Kleberg Estates who is on record for stating the original land and deed holders “do not exist”. (Video being uploaded and we will continue to follow this story with more and updated information.)
Members of the Cisnero family want to know how to hold Texas oil companies accountable for the mineral rights that rightfully belong to them.
Last year, Mr. Ruiz gave a letter to a CIA agent (to give to President Barack Obama) when he and other members of Chingon played for the President. However, we do not believe the Secret Service agent ensured the letter was given to President Obama and we are now following up on the letter. The letter was hand delivered to a Secret Service Agent on July 9, 2014 at a Democratic Fundraising Party when Ruiz and Chingon band members performed at.
Ruiz wrote:
July 9, 2014
Dear President Obama,
It gives me great pleasure to be the first in my family to meet, greet and sing for you. My name is David A. Ruiz. I am the lead singer for Robert Rodriguez’ band, Chingon.
I have been a supporter of yours throughout your administration. I know you are an answer to many prayers whispered throughout American History. I have seen your struggles within the House and want you to know that you are not alone. You have awakened The Nation.
I am writing this letter also as a way to reach Washington in a much needed time for South Texas Pioneer Families, who have been afflicted by criminal activities with no help from the Texas government system. We are engaged in a long series of disputes with the State of Texas and General Land Office, Comptroller’s Office, and Railroad Commission dating back to Civil War times, when Texas was just joining the Union.
We have proof of crimes and grand theft over lands and livestock and now minerals from certain families. These families and Texas still have control over these lands to this day. We are asking for justice to be served and for Texas to withhold the Rule of Law which we feel has been one sided throughout Texas History.
We are currently involved in a referendum with Texas House Bill 724. In this Bill there are hundreds of millions if not billions of dollars being allocated to the State and its departments in which we have known for a long time have belonged to these families I speak of. These monies get allocated and dispersed to a long list of personnel and it is the monies we here in Texas call “Dark Monies”. Unfortunately, a system of government infected with corruption and ruthless ambition and greed.
With violations of territorial integrity and a history of intimidation and unethical means by people in power here in the Texas system this has become an endemic problem within the US boundaries. We seek the immediate assistance of Washington or any World Court that could help us with these corruptions and inefficiencies. We need to hold those accountable for their actions that have wronged the families of the pioneers of Texas.
We are respectfully asking you to lead us through this dark valley. We need the US Department of Justice to see that our people who hold titles and have precedence are still protected by the US treaties of Guadalupe Hidalgo, which President Lincoln signed, and The Adams Onis Treaty of 1819, which protects the rights and lands of our Spanish Pioneer families against hostile take overs and grandfather clauses.
Would you please help us in our cause to redirect Texas Government for the people and by the people.
To conclude with a quote from President Harry S. Truman: “America was not built on fear. America was built on courage, on imagination and an unbeatable determination to do the job at hand.”
God Speed Mr. President, we send our love and prayers for you and your family. As is practiced in South Texas: Mi casa humilde es su casa.
If you would like more information or to speak with me about this matter, please feel free to contact me at [email protected]
Sincerely,
Semper Fidelis
David Alejandro Ruiz

Brown Lives Matter: Does GOP dehumanizing of immigrants affect reporting when immigrant woman dies of domestic violence?
October is supposed to be domestic violence awareness month -- but that does not seem to be the case in Bear, Delaware, when a pregnant woman of 6 months was reported being beat and hospitalized. The hospital staff was able to save the 6 month preemie baby. A presser was issued by the New Castle County police department notifying media of the hospitalization, however, no presser was conducted regarding the woman's death beyond their October 20, 2014, communications. Information regarding festivals, square dances and the like were discovered on the New Castle County PD press release page, but we could not locate news of the death -- only by word of mouth.
Had agencies or news outlets reported the death of this young lady, the giving hearts of American people may have learned faster how to help the now motherless baby with resources to help pay for the expense of a funeral and preemie baby needs. Since the immigrant woman died on October 29th, 2014, it would have given Bear, Delaware, the chance to educate the people in their region the horrors of domestic violence and how it may sometimes lead to a tragic death and story. We believe more and more people should look for possible signs in helping those who are suffering from domestic abuse and we should be better with this sort of education to this regard.
According to the surviving members of the woman who was abused to death:
Paola Eden Delagado Polanco was a young thriving girl and full of life, with charming simplicity and humility. She died October 29 at her 21 years as a victim of domestic violence caused by her boyfriend in Bear, Delaware. Paola was six months pregnant, and by a miracle the baby survived. God has plans for all of us and Paola is now in the kingdom of heaven with our Heavenly Father. She was beautiful, but her inner beauty was far more radiant than her physical attractiveness. We urge support for funeral expenses and to send her body to rest in her home town of Puente de Camotlan Nayarit, Mexico. We also ask for your help in the expenses for her premature baby girl who has a long journey ahead of her. Thank you and may God bless you .
- The Delgado Polanco Family
As legal immigration reform supporters, we ought to consider how the anti-immigrant sentiment fueled by Republican bigotry (when they adopted self deportation ideas with the blessing of Kris Kobach) contributed to the dehumanization of immigrants. Could the sentiment contributed to nonchalant reporting because some view immigrants as less than human or as an equal?
It is shameful Delaware Online did not report this abuse and death leaving behind a precious innocent baby in need of community support when the mother died on October 29 and during Domestic Violence Awareness month.
As we embark Dia de los Muertos, may word of mouth and social media be sufficient to help the needs of the grieving family and the surviving 6 month preemie that is currently hospitalized. We implore those who can give to give what theyu can to help this family -- even if it is $5.00 because a little will go a long way collectively. It is a miracle the baby survived.

Chicanos and American Latino Voters will VOTE despite the “Tea” DREAMers who are advocating for a boycott of the vote. These TeaDREAMers have not been transparent when they did not reveal they were working for and with Tea Party Republicans.
Time For El Paso -- "El Chuco" To Turn Texas Elections Around
Deputy Sheriff Bartley Brown of East Los Angeles inspects the haircut of prisoner Alex "Largo" Rodriguez, who is wearing an $85.00 zoot suit June 7, 1943.
El Paso has the ability to turn around Texas statewide elections with the mere Chicano / Latino voting population. [Pay attention candidate Wendy Davis.] Data shows 33 percent of El Paso registered voters haven’t voted in almost a decade, and experts havediscussed solutions. According to the Board of Hispanic Caucus Chairs, "... The role of Hispanics and the Hispanic vote in Texas has become increasingly clear over the past decade. The growth of the Hispanic electorate in particular signals the growing need for political parties, candidates, and political pundits to consider the impact of this electorate on the shape of politics to come..."
El Paso has a serious history with regard to Chicano Movement history. In fact, the term Pachuco is said to have come from El Paso, Texas, where it moved westward, following the line of migration of Mexican railroad workers ("traqueros") into Los Angeles, where it developed further. It was the Pachuco Zoot Suit riots that became a turning point for Chicanos and Latinos. The riots began in Los Angeles, amidst a period of racial tensions between Anglo American servicemen stationed in Southern California and Los Angeles' Mexican-American population. Although Mexican-American men were over-represented in the military as a percentage of their population, many European-American servicemen resented the sight of Latinos socializing in clothing considered extravagant.
According to the Texas State Historical Association, El Paso is also the place where the first national conference regarding La Raza Unida meeting was held, and tremendous Chicano Power came from Texas ranging from La Raza Unida to the American GI Forum via Dr. Hector P. Garcia. More Mexican American / Chicano / Latino power will continue to come from El Paso particularly when we have witnessed Canadian-born and son of Cuban immigrant Republican Senator Ted Cruz use his authority to kick Mexican Americans and their families down.
On Sunday, September 28, 2014, we will encourage Chicano / Latino voters to vote on November 4, 2014 -- Election Day. We will remind the lowrider culture just how powerful our vote can be by giving them the facts with regard to our El Paso voting demographics. As such, we invite you to attend Lincoln Park Day -- a Chicano Art and Car Show where we will be directly asking the lowrider culture to participate in voting and the Cruise To The Polls.

The Battle of the Nebraska Billionaires: Founder TD Ameritrade's Isolationism vs. Buffett's Pro Growth Ideas
Founder of TD Ameritrade via Joe Ricketts and Pete Ricketts of Nebraska are on an anti-obama campaign despite the economic gains under the Obama administration vs. the Bush Administration. Their restrictionist views hurt the middle class while lining the pockets of Wall Street fat cats and those who make up the elitist 1%. Is Nebraska ready ready for Ricketts who will harm their economic driver via the agricultural industry?
The Rickett's family founded TD Ameritrade (NYSE: AMTD) which helped put them on the Billionaire Club list. It is no secret TD Ameritrade lost customers over founder Joe Ricketts' anti-Obama Super PAC campaign. And I will never understand billionaires and/or millionaires such as Pete Ricketts who is running for Nebraska Governor -- and who owe their success to pro growth economic policies but who to their own detriment become supportive of restrictionism and isolationist views.
On the other side of the billionaire spectrum we have Warren Buffett who gave Americans really good advice at the end of President George W. Bush's reign. According to The Motley Fool: "Warren Buffett released his 2008 letter to Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE: BRK-A ) (NYSE: BRK-B ) shareholders in February of 2009. By this point, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were under government control, Lehman Brothers had filed for bankruptcy, and by any and all stretches of the imagination, the U.S. economy was in recession."
So which Nebraska billionaire is correct with regard to economic policies?
For starters, we now know unauthorized workers are paying an estimated $13 billion a year in social security taxes according to Stephen Goss, the chief actuary of the Social Security Administration (SSA). Yet, it appears that both Joe and Pete Ricketts do not care about the ordinary baby boomers who rely on their Social Security pay checks every month that is helped and fueled off the backs of undocumented immigrants. The Nebraska GOP candidate for Governor is simply ignorant when it comes to the economy, the agricultural industry, businesses who rely on competitive labor, and the baby boomer ticking time bomb.
On the other hand, the likes of Warren Buffett, Sheldon Adelson and Bill Gates penned an opinion with regard to the much needed legal immigration reform pointing towards pro growth ideas:
AMERICAN citizens are paying 535 people to take care of the legislative needs of the country. We are getting shortchanged. Here’s an example: On June 10, an incumbent [Republican] congressman in Virginia lost a primary election in which his opponent garnered only 36,105 votes. Immediately, many Washington legislators threw up their hands and declared that this one event would produce paralysis in the United States Congress for at least five months. In particular, they are telling us that immigration reform — long overdue — is now hopeless.
*Note: The Democratic-led Senate passed legal immigration reform over one year ago while the Republican-led House of Representatives continue to do nothing to fix the broken immigration system.
But back to issues affecting cornhuskers, according to the Kearney [Nebraska] Hub, Nebraskans during the past two weeks have witnessed a number of situations that cast suspicion on Pete Ricketts’ ability to be the state’s next chief executive. Ricketts has not carried himself in a governor-like manner. Since statehood in 1867, all Nebraska governors but one have lived in Lincoln. Yet, according to Omaha.com, Ricketts has already made it clear that commuting — rather than living full-time in Lincoln — is on the table for him. He might split time between the official residence and his $1.2 million private home in Omaha.
While billionaires tend to be pretentious about their living spaces, we see Nebraskan Warren Buffett on the other side of the spectrum living in a relatively modest home which cost $31,500 in 1958. Most notably, it was Warren Buffett who received the call from the Obama administration to be an economic advisor as the Obama administration was inheriting a poor economy former President George W. Bush left behind, and it could be Joe Ricketts' ego was bruised when he didn't receive a similar call from the President.
That said, we hope Nebraska will take a cue from it's neighboring State of Kansas and what they are doing because the agricultural community is doing what it takes to oust restrictionists and isolationists who are negatively impacting the ag industry. In fact, the architect behind almost all anti-immigrant laws in our Nation via Kris Kobach is also lagging in the polls even in a conservative State of Kansas.
Midwest farmers and businesses will have to ask themselves whether they choose a person (like Ricketts) who holds isolationist views restricting economic growth Vs. the person (like Hassebrook) who embraces pro growth policies. Somos Independents is an organization supporting pro growth policies, and we are asking Nebraska voters to vote their pocket books by voting for Chuck Hassebrook for Governor. If Nebraskan voters are still unsure who to support come November 4, 2014, Election Day, we hope they would at least consider what their neighbors in the farming industry have to say.
Growing Nebraska states:
The American Farm Bureau Federation is urging Congress to pass immigration reform this year. "Immigration reform is critical for the agricultural industry," said AFBF President Bob Stallman. "Many farmers rely on an immigrant labor force and without reform, growers will begin to plant less labor intensive crops or go off shore. "Simply put, either we import our labor or we import our food," said Stallman.
Agriculture is Nebraska's chief economic driver. According to the New York Times, current Governor Heineman made anti-immigration his focus in his last election, yet we see candidate Pete Ricketts who is doing more of the same by aligning himself with the extremist Tea Party Republican Rep. Steve King. With "Prejudice Pete" Ricketts aligning himself with Rep. Steve King, he essentially agrees with dehumanizing bigotry when King referred to Latinos as cockroaches, dogs and cattle. Perhaps someone can give Pete Ricketts the memo that King is essentially talking about the Nebraska immigrant labor and workforce keeping Nebraska farmers afloat while they pay billions of tax dollars that is helping take care of our elderly and the baby boomers.
El Grito de Independencia (The yelling for independence) Starts With Participating On Election Day
Padre Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla and El Grito de Delores
Today is El Grito Day, a/k/a El Grito de Independencia (or the yelling for independence).
The Californian eloquently explains El Grito Day:
Music, food, dance and lots of pride will fill independence day celebrations in the coming week, not just for one or two Latin American countries but for eight.
Brazil celebrated its independence from Portugal on Sept. 7. Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Costa Rica and Nicaragua will mark their emergence from Spain’s governance on Monday, Mexico will do the same on Tuesday and Chile follows suit on Thursday. Residents of the Central Coast will commemorate these events over the weekend, whether in public or at home, as a way to enhance Latin American heritage and pride for new generations to discover. “Costa Rica’s independence from Spain was on September 15th, 1821, same day as the Guatemala’s Captaincy General participants (Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Honduras),” said Adriana Sisfuentes, a Salinas resident from Costa Rica. “Although, the actual independence act was signed several months later.”
On Sept. 15, 1810, in the middle of the night, Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, a pastor for the Church of Dolores, Hidalgo México, rang the bell to gather a civilian army that started the independence movement from Spain. Other countries took the cue from Mexico and began to pursue their own independence and freedom. That event is called El Grito de Independencia (The yelling for independence). Mexicans all over the world celebrate Mexico´s Independence with a reenactment of this episode by ringing a bell followed by yelling “Viva México, Viva Hidalgo, Vivan los héroes que nos dieron patria” and then “Viva México” three times. FULL STORY>>>
As we celebrate past independence from Spain, my prayer is that my people will reject the temptation of voter apathy and believe their combined indigenous vote is a powerful one. May Americans of Mexican heritage remember the sacrifices by Chicano movement greats such as Corky Gonzales and Dr. Hector P. Garcia. I pray Latino Republicans will punish the Republican Party and Reince Priebus for adopting a draconian anti-immigrant policy in 2012 that was essentially handwritten and blessed by Kris Kobach -- who is the author of many anti-Mexican, anti-Latino laws. I pray Latino Democrats will not get discouraged with how immigration and redistricting issues have been used as political futbols -- and instead vote.
Lastly, I pray more of mi gente will join the rising independent registered voters who will ultimately force both sides to solving tough issues -- else the 2 major party system will continue to lose more of their voting bloc while independents move the 2 major party system to do what is in the best interest of our Nation because a divided Country will not stand. Like Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, we hope to ring the bell that will begin our independence and freedom of those who try to oppress us and suppress our Chicano and/or Latin indigenous history.
Moderate Key Swing Independent Voters Tired of Gridlock -- The Republican Party Wrong To Embrace Tea Party Extremism
Dear independent registered voters,
I received an email from the GOP 3 hours ago clearly telling key swing moderate and centrist voters across America they have decided to dig in their heels and embrace tea party extremism and bigotry. It appears the RNC Chairman Reince Priebus continues to fail in reaching out to the moderate, women and Chicano/Latino voters because moderates loathe extremism, bigotry and gridlock.
"The current Congress has an average 9.2 percent approval rating and 84.2 percent disapproval rating. ... These numbers point to a grave problem: the House of Representatives is utterly unrepresentative."
In the below screen shot from the GOP email, the Republican Party eliminates the fact that moderate independent registered voters are also against tea party extremism and bigotry. The GOP lies about tax abuse, too. Republican politicians had the opportunity to do away with tax subsidies in the oil industry. The Republican Party is and has been for crony capitalism (not true capitalism) when they support tax subsidies for corporate millionaires. The GOP is also guilty of millions of dollars that are wasted subsidizing the private prison industry when they house immigrants for working in the agricultural fields, hotels, construction work sites and more.
The GOP very much supports tax subsidized programs yet lie to their sheeple about it.
Independent voters continue to make a stand against bull shit. We do not owe loyalty to any party and we will continue to signal to moderate voices pointing out who is more extreme than the other. As of today, the GOP has decided to embrace tea party extremism to their own demise.
Key Swing Independent Voter Group Led By Women Endorses Wendy Davis For Texas Governor -- Cites Birthright Citizenship / Culture of Death

-
Texas pro life organizations have endorsed Texas politicians like Texas Rep. Louie Gohmert who are on the record for attacking our 14th amendment and ending birthright citizenship directly impacting immigrant women who are pregnant. Pro life organizations who promote politicians like Rep. Steve King, Rep. Russell Pearce and Gohmert, essentially promote the Spirit of Eugenicist Margaret Sanger, who boldly proclaimed “more children for the fit, less from the unfit, that is the chief issue of birth control,” was certainly America’s leading proponent of limiting the number of children born to those she considered “irresponsible breeders” – Slavs, Italians, Blacks, Latinos, and Jews. Gohmert and anti-immigrant politicians want to reduce colored babies in America from being born as citizens. In fact, Republican politicians are guilty of the dehumanization process referring to precious babies as "anchor" babies, and referring to immigrant human beings as rats, cockroaches, and other animals. Why aren't pro life organizations concerned about babies of immigrant women and birthright citizenship? Why is the National Right To Life endorsing Gohmert who is on the record for strong anti-Mexican and anti-immigrant views when they know a healthy chunk of pro life Catholics or Christians are of Mexican or Latin descent?
-
Where was the Texas Pro Life leadership at when breastfeeding babies held in immigrant detention centers were denied basic human rights while being held in border deep freezers?
-
Pro life organizations have no place working in concert with ALEC / private prison industries who embrace culture of death and despair, yet, according to Americans United for Life, the legal arm of the pro-life movement and the oldest national pro-life organization, received a prestigious Weyrich Award for “Grassroots Organization of the Year” for 2011. Paul Weyrich was the founder and past director of the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC). Why is the National Right To Life working in concert with ALEC, when it was ALEC who helped design laws that supportedanti-women and anti-Latino laws? Where is Texas pro life leadership at when women and girls are shackled during pregnancies and in some cases while giving birth? These laws not only affect immigrants, it affects American women, too. Texas woman Nicole Guerrero alleges her baby died after she was forced to deliver the newborn alone while in solitary confinement.
-
Will Texas pro life organizations continue to support Greg Abbott even though Abbott's Republican campaign allies via Jerry Patterson are on the record for repealing birthright citizenship which carries out Margaret Sanger's vision? Or, will the current pro life movement turn a blind eye to Jerry Patterson as it relates to brown and colored babies and ending birthright?
-
Will prolife organizations continue to support politicians like Greg Abbott even though Abbott associates himself with the likes of a sexual predator to women via Ted Nugent who is on record for embracing the culture of death and threatening to kill the President of the United States and fellow Americans? Didn't Texans mourn enough with the killing of former President John F. Kennedy during the Dallas parade?

Republicans Responsible For High Summer 2014 Gasoline Prices Affecting American Vacations
We have the Republican Party to blame with their abuse of tax payer monies in the billions and rising gasoline prices during our summer vacation time affecting millions of single parent women and women voters in general. According to Money News, gas prices climbed nearly 43 cents per gallon between Feb. 7 and May 2, 2014.
On March 29 2012, Republicans voted 51 - 47 to protect oil subsidies (or oil corporate welfare handouts). Senate Republicans blocked a Democratic measure championed by President Barack Obama to end tax breaks for the major oil companies. These Republicans voted in support of corporate welfare for oil companies despite a WSJ poll that revealed most Americans were against oil subsidies.
We are not sure why Republican Speaker John Boehner has been a staunch advocate of XL Pipeline considering drilling our own oil is causing American gasoline prices to rise. The billions of dollars Republicans give to oil companies do not drive our gasoline prices lower and our tax dollars are being wasted.
This NBC News report, as Fortune explains, the U.S. is now an exporter of refined petroleum products, but Americans aren’t getting reduced prices because the oil companies are now pricing the fuel according to European metrics:
The U.S. is now selling more petroleum products than it is buying for the first time in more than six decades. Yet Americans are paying around $4 or more for a gallon of gas, even as demand slumps to historic lows. What gives?
***
Americans have been told for years that if only we drilled more oil, we would see a drop in gasoline prices.
***
But more drilling is happening now, and prices are still going up. That’s because Wall Street has changed the formula for pricing gasoline.
Women and independent voters will be deciding the outcome of the 2014 elections. Indeed NPR’s Mara Liasson says unmarried women are the single most important demographic in this year’s elections, with a quarter of the entire electorate overall are single women. As marriage rates decline, the numbers of single women are growing.
"The current Congress has an average 9.2 percent approval rating and 84.2 percent disapproval rating. ... These numbers point to a grave problem: the House of Representatives is utterly unrepresentative."
Vote the do-nothing GOP-led House of Representatives out of office. Women and independent voters are fed up with oil corporate welfare handouts and rising gasoline prices Republicans protect and it's time to #DumpTheTea.
Mexican-American Women-led Organization Targets Texas / Competitive Races For Immigration Inaction After Ohio Political Wins
The men leading the Republican Party do not feel or empathize what women voters feel with regard to the pain we feel with regard to watching undocumented women being separated from small children, or hearing about breastfeeding women and babies being detained in freezer cells. As a result of hearing about immigrant women and babies being detained in freezer cells, we began organizing in Ohio and targeted Ohio women leaders and child advocacy organizations. Our Creator heard our cries. And, we were happy to hear Tea Party Republicans lose in states like Ohio when a Tea Party challenger via Matt Lynch lost to Republican Rep. Dave Joyce. We know the State of Ohio is a key state during Presidential elections.
"Let us not compound the recent abuse and misery of the victims of the human traffickers east of Edinburg, Texas. The U.S. Government must provide humane treatment of these victims by keeping mothers, fathers, and their children together. These families are just seeking a safer life in the U.S. We must remember, that at one time all non natives were immigrants that did not belong to this continent, these women, men and their children belong to this continent...let them stay in the U.S. with the benefits of the T Visa!"
“What we saw occur in Edinburg is repeated throughout the United States. Human traffickers exploit women and children as they are held against their will in drop houses, often forced to remain in their underwear to deter the Immigrant from fleeing. The hypocritical labor system currently utilized by our corporations has created an inviting environment that has trapped the Immigrant currently in the U.S. and tempts others to make that treacherous journey across that unforgiving desert. It is high time that this Congress act and tender a reasonable Comprehensive Immigration Reform to the American people."
