Alex Ruiz, a/k/a David Alejandro Ruiz has been getting the Texas runaround with regard to land his family owns. This is not your ordinary land grant issue …. nay, this story has to do with the Cisnero family who has possession of the land title deed.
Ruiz reached out to George P. Bush who is now the head of the Texas General Land Office to no avail, so when the time comes for the Republican National Committee or the GOP to reach out to “Hispanic / Latino” voters come 2016 with George P. Bush as the brown pawn — we will be right here to remind Chicanos and Latinos how George P. Bush dropped the ball as Texas Land Commissioner when an influential Texas family member sought professional public servant advice.

Ruiz also contacted Senator John Cornyn’s office with regard to the land title his family owns dating back to 1792. Sen. Cornyn’s office pointed Ruiz to the General Land Office — getting more bureaucracy.
Ruiz has been persistent and has been following the land sale(s) that rightfully belong to the Cisnero family. Recently Texas House Bill 724 eventually led nowhere during the 84TH Legislative Session but we now have on record an elitist attorney for Kennedy and Kleberg Estates who is on record for stating the original land and deed holders “do not exist”. (Video being uploaded and we will continue to follow this story with more and updated information.)
Members of the Cisnero family want to know how to hold Texas oil companies accountable for the mineral rights that rightfully belong to them.
Last year, Mr. Ruiz gave a letter to a CIA agent (to give to President Barack Obama) when he and other members of Chingon played for the President. However, we do not believe the Secret Service agent ensured the letter was given to President Obama and we are now following up on the letter. The letter was hand delivered to a Secret Service Agent on July 9, 2014 at a Democratic Fundraising Party when Ruiz and Chingon band members performed at.
Ruiz wrote:
July 9, 2014
Dear President Obama,
It gives me great pleasure to be the first in my family to meet, greet and sing for you. My name is David A. Ruiz. I am the lead singer for Robert Rodriguez’ band, Chingon.
I have been a supporter of yours throughout your administration. I know you are an answer to many prayers whispered throughout American History. I have seen your struggles within the House and want you to know that you are not alone. You have awakened The Nation.
I am writing this letter also as a way to reach Washington in a much needed time for South Texas Pioneer Families, who have been afflicted by criminal activities with no help from the Texas government system. We are engaged in a long series of disputes with the State of Texas and General Land Office, Comptroller’s Office, and Railroad Commission dating back to Civil War times, when Texas was just joining the Union.
We have proof of crimes and grand theft over lands and livestock and now minerals from certain families. These families and Texas still have control over these lands to this day. We are asking for justice to be served and for Texas to withhold the Rule of Law which we feel has been one sided throughout Texas History.
We are currently involved in a referendum with Texas House Bill 724. In this Bill there are hundreds of millions if not billions of dollars being allocated to the State and its departments in which we have known for a long time have belonged to these families I speak of. These monies get allocated and dispersed to a long list of personnel and it is the monies we here in Texas call “Dark Monies”. Unfortunately, a system of government infected with corruption and ruthless ambition and greed.
With violations of territorial integrity and a history of intimidation and unethical means by people in power here in the Texas system this has become an endemic problem within the US boundaries. We seek the immediate assistance of Washington or any World Court that could help us with these corruptions and inefficiencies. We need to hold those accountable for their actions that have wronged the families of the pioneers of Texas.
We are respectfully asking you to lead us through this dark valley. We need the US Department of Justice to see that our people who hold titles and have precedence are still protected by the US treaties of Guadalupe Hidalgo, which President Lincoln signed, and The Adams Onis Treaty of 1819, which protects the rights and lands of our Spanish Pioneer families against hostile take overs and grandfather clauses.
Would you please help us in our cause to redirect Texas Government for the people and by the people.
To conclude with a quote from President Harry S. Truman: “America was not built on fear. America was built on courage, on imagination and an unbeatable determination to do the job at hand.”
God Speed Mr. President, we send our love and prayers for you and your family. As is practiced in South Texas: Mi casa humilde es su casa.
If you would like more information or to speak with me about this matter, please feel free to contact me at [email protected]
Sincerely,
Semper Fidelis

The majority of the Hispanic / Latino population pie in the United States are those of Mexican descent. Mexican American Chicanos for the most part heavily populate the southwestern part of our Nation. Now that Florida’s Cuban American Senator via Sen. Marco Rubio is running for President, we believe it is time to remember the facts and bring up history in an effort to remind ourselves how weak his leadership skills really are.
Chicano Sin No. 1: Senator Marco Rubio supported Arizona’s “papers please” law that would have directly affected brown-skinned Chicanos and Latinos here in Arizona with regard to SB 1070. He has not recanted his support for SB 1070.
Chicano Sin No.2: His support for immigration reform via the Gang of 8 until he reversed his position and backed out.
Chicano Sin No.3: Senator Marco Rubio did not take a stand against the RNC’s anti-immigrant policy adopted in 2012 that was essentially written and blessed by Kris Kobach. If Rubio cannot express strong leadership skills within his own Party as a “Hispanic” — how can we trust he is able to run this Nation of ours?
Rubio’s main Latino constituency in Florida are of Cuban descent, therefore we believe he doesn’t understand, feel or hear the outcry experienced by Mexicans (living in the southwest) and other Latin groups who do not receive the privilege of automatic citizenship given to Puerto Ricans, or the immigration amnesty given to Cuban immigrants. Currently under the unique Cuban amnesty program, Cuban immigrants can receive at least one year of government entitlements once their foot touches American soil without first contributing to our tax paying system. Republicans have long forgotten that the GOP has indeed supported immigration amnesty for years under the Cuban Adjustment Act (CAA) while damning Mexicans, and other Latin immigrants who do not receive Cuban amnesty.
According to a CNN Op-ed by Raul Reyes:
Back in 2013, Rubio was a member of the Senate “Gang of 8″ that crafted a bipartisan proposal for comprehensive reform, including a path to citizenship for the nation’s estimated 11 million undocumented immigrants. He later distanced himself from the bill after it ran into resistance from House Republicans, and now says he favors a piecemeal approach, starting with securing the border.
His retreat on immigration means that Rubio has missed an opportunity to set himself apart from most of the presumptive Republican presidential candidates. That’s a shame, for this issue was supposed to be his calling card to Latino voters.
Instead, Rubio has embraced a typical conservative approach to immigration. He believes that President Obama’s Deferred Action program, offering deportation relief to young immigrants, should be ended. He has stated that the President’s executive action on immigration, on hold pending a circuit court review, sets a “horrifying precedent.”
Meanwhile, both the Deferred Action program and President Obama’s executive action on immigration are overwhelmingly favored by Hispanics. No wonder the research firm Latino Decisions reports that, “We find no evidence that Rubio’s candidacy will draw significant Latino support for his candidacy or for his party more generally.” So, if Rubio is counting on his ethnicity and personal history as the son of immigrants to win over fellow Hispanics, he is mistaken.
I’ll agree with Reyes’ opinion and will add to it. Within the last decade the Republican Party has transformed since 2000 when they used to fight to keep Elian Gonzales as Latinos galvanized themselves in Florida. On the other hand, we have witnessed the GOP using Marco Rubio as a Trojan Horse today as a tool to deport the “Mexican equivalents” to Elian Gonzales, and this will only serve to galvanize Latinos in the entire southwest against Republicans during the 2016 election cycle.

October is supposed to be domestic violence awareness month -- but that does not seem to be the case in Bear, Delaware, when a pregnant woman of 6 months was reported being beat and hospitalized. The hospital staff was able to save the 6 month preemie baby. A presser was issued by the New Castle County police department notifying media of the hospitalization, however, no presser was conducted regarding the woman's death beyond their October 20, 2014, communications. Information regarding festivals, square dances and the like were discovered on the New Castle County PD press release page, but we could not locate news of the death -- only by word of mouth.
Had agencies or news outlets reported the death of this young lady, the giving hearts of American people may have learned faster how to help the now motherless baby with resources to help pay for the expense of a funeral and preemie baby needs. Since the immigrant woman died on October 29th, 2014, it would have given Bear, Delaware, the chance to educate the people in their region the horrors of domestic violence and how it may sometimes lead to a tragic death and story. We believe more and more people should look for possible signs in helping those who are suffering from domestic abuse and we should be better with this sort of education to this regard.
According to the surviving members of the woman who was abused to death:

Paola Eden Delagado Polanco was a young thriving girl and full of life, with charming simplicity and humility. She died October 29 at her 21 years as a victim of domestic violence caused by her boyfriend in Bear, Delaware. Paola was six months pregnant, and by a miracle the baby survived. God has plans for all of us and Paola is now in the kingdom of heaven with our Heavenly Father. She was beautiful, but her inner beauty was far more radiant than her physical attractiveness. We urge support for funeral expenses and to send her body to rest in her home town of Puente de Camotlan Nayarit, Mexico. We also ask for your help in the expenses for her premature baby girl who has a long journey ahead of her. Thank you and may God bless you .
- The Delgado Polanco Family
As legal immigration reform supporters, we ought to consider how the anti-immigrant sentiment fueled by Republican bigotry (when they adopted self deportation ideas with the blessing of Kris Kobach) contributed to the dehumanization of immigrants. Could the sentiment contributed to nonchalant reporting because some view immigrants as less than human or as an equal?
It is shameful Delaware Online did not report this abuse and death leaving behind a precious innocent baby in need of community support when the mother died on October 29 and during Domestic Violence Awareness month.
As we embark Dia de los Muertos, may word of mouth and social media be sufficient to help the needs of the grieving family and the surviving 6 month preemie that is currently hospitalized. We implore those who can give to give what theyu can to help this family -- even if it is $5.00 because a little will go a long way collectively. It is a miracle the baby survived.

Citizens for Better Arizona (CBA) (an operation run by the likes of Randy Parraz and Chad Snow) has come under tremendous fire recently from the Carlos Galindo show who has played audio clips from a young lady under the age of 18 years of age that was misled with regard to Arizona politics.
This is not the first time this has happened. CBA was under fire for raising money to the last day of their failed Arpaio Recall Effort even though they knew they did not have enough signatures to recall Arpaio. It became worse when CBA then claimed they shredded the signatures for the failed Arpaio recall and would not be transparent with their operations though they consistently peddled for money. Recall efforts cost Arizona tax payer dollars and this is touchy situation for Independent voters who are fiscally responsible and do NOT believe in operations that are not calculated risks. Independent voters in Arizona are now the largest voting bloc and we are organizing and broadening our Coalition against folks and non profit organizations who manufacture a crisis situation in order to line their pockets with finances.
In addition to holding CBA and Randy Parraz accountable, Carlos Galindo and the independent coalition will continue to uphold the integrity of elections. We are committed. We do not turn a blind eye because you have an (R) or a (D) beside your name.
Carlos Galindo was the first radio talking head to come against Randy Parraz and CBA, and it is no surprise Citizens For Better Arizona has been under fire from The Blaze.
According to The Blaze (conservative media):
The Maricopa County GOP chairman provided the Arizona Daily Independent with the following account of what happened during the Aug. 26 primary election cycle:
Guy: “What’s your problem?”
LaFaro: “I don’t have a problem.”
Guy: “Stop watching me. You’re annoying me.”
LaFaro: “One of your ballots isn’t sealed.”
Guy: “It’s none of your business. What’s your name?”
LaFaro: “I’m the chairman of the Maricopa County Republican Party. What’s yours?”
Guy: “Go f*** yourself. I don’t have to tell you who I am.”
This is not the first time a person identifying with Citizens For Better Arizona has told someone to “F*** Off.”
Chad Snow, a leader of Citizens For Better Arizona wrote co-founder of Somos Independents and stated:
“You f*cked up. Admit it, apologize, and we can all move on. And in the future, just keep our names out of your mouth and off your little blog and we can all forget about this.
Chad”
There you have it folks.
Randy Parraz and Citizens For Better Arizona are becoming as controversial as ACORN now, and it began with their Arpaio debacle. I implore the reader to not to give CBA any money, NOR should you trust them with your ballots!

Chicanos have had it with DREAMers who are being manipulated by the Republican anti-immigrant Tea Party people — and it is time to clean house. We refuse to entertain the ideas Erika Andiola is peddling. For the record, Erika Andiola and Cesar Vargas are part of the FOR PROFIT DRM Action organization. They ask for donations to help themselves pretending to be for gente.
Erika Andiola and her ilk have threatened to boycott the Latino vote, but Chicanos and Latinos refuse to throw away our vote when we know people have died for our right to vote; and just because Andiola cannot vote — this does not mean we will put ourselves in the non-voting category with her.
Chicanos believe our vote is powerful. The veteranos of the Chicano Movement used to raise money in order to pay for poll taxes in order for our gente to vote and we refuse to go backwards after Chicano leaders of the 60′s and 70′s fought to get where we are at now. Chicanos will use our vote voice to advocate for the undocumented who cannot vote!
There were 3 Spanish media outlets who wrote about those who are repudiating boycotting the vote idea here in Arizona: La Voz, Prensa Hispania and Telemundo. Univision did not help counter the ‘boycott the vote’ message here locally in Arizona.
From La Voz:

(Above) Chicanos reject Erika Andiola’s message above.
Chicanos and American Latino Voters will VOTE despite the “Tea” DREAMers who are advocating for a boycott of the vote. These TeaDREAMers have not been transparent when they did not reveal they were working for and with Tea Party Republicans.

Susan B. Anthony Would Never Promote "Boycott The Vote"
A Lesson For TeaDREAMers
By DeeDee Garcia Blase

Women, we might as well be dogs baying the moon as petitioners without the right to vote! - Susan B. Anthony
It is embarrassing for me to see the naive and politically under-educated TeaDREAMers promote a thinly veiled threat to boycott the vote that essentially affects millions of people living in the shadows of society when so many women, Civil Rights and Chicano Movement leaders fought for our right to vote. Particularly when pioneers like Susan B. Anthony along with 14 other women were charged and arrested for voting. It is even more embarrassing to discover how TeaDREAMers sold out in order to benefit themselves financially via "legal coyote" operations. Ultimately, the joke ends up backfiring on the TeaDREAMer because politicians already know they cannot vote anyway.
A border reporter shared a concern with me last year when we were discussing DREAMers who are on record for supporting the hijacking of the immigration rights movement. It struck a nerve with me but I tried to remain optimistic. The journalist told me she felt that it may have been a good idea for it to take 13 years for an immigrant to earn his/her citizenship after the other hurdles have been cleared in light of their naivete. I responded by saying citizenship ought to take place before the baby boomer Social Security benefits exhaust 100% of our federal tax revenues. I do not believe in going down the slippery slope of "taxation without representation" ideas and we know undocumented immigrants pay taxes.
Was the border reporter half right?
Obviously we want to ensure our American values are preserved. We want to continue to show progress and move forward -- not go backwards. But the unsophisticated methods used by these "Tea DREAMers" are not helping me alleviate the concerns my journalism friend had.
During frustrating times like these, proud Americans must go back to the basics of our American ideals that have shown us progress. I am an American first, but I am not ashamed of my Mexican heritage either. That said, I am also a woman who recognizes how much longer it took for women to become voters in our Nation. On Election Day in 1920, millions of American women exercised their right to vote for the first time. For almost 100 years, women (and men) had been fighting to win that right. It has been discouraging to see people with financial self interests attempt to derail the immigration rights movement, and now the upcoming voting process, but I have no other choice but to rely on American history that still provides me with the shred of hope I need to rely on in order to carry on. I have to tell myself that the women's rights movement also suffered set backs and derailments, albeit never to the degree we see within the immigrant rights movement. Even though women disagreed within the women's rights movement, at least each was committed to the enfranchisement of all American women.
So what happened?
Did naivete play a hand with regard to the TeaDREAMers who were influenced by Republicans who wish to see undocumented immigrants remain disenfranchised? These same TeaDREAmers quickly learned how they were duped when Florida Sen. Marco Rubio wanted to end DACA.
The TeaDREAMers who are supported and have been co-opted by Tea Party Republicans and Libertarians have revealed themselves as not being committed to enfranchisement of undocumented immigrants who wish to become proud citizens of our Nation. As such, I am willing to concede a little and reconsider the lengthy 13 years it will take for the "TeaDREAMer" immigrant to earn his/her citizenship in the legal immigration reform bill passed by the Democratic-controlled Senate over a year ago. Perhaps the border reporter was on to something as it relates to the naive TeaDREAMers who have been duped, and 13 years may give them time to mature and reflect upon what it took in order for American women, and other minority groups to see progress during suffrage movements.
Boycotting the vote is a moronic idea and clearly unAmerican. It is my prayer for American voters to overcome voter apathy and consider being a voice for those who have no voice by casting their votes for more immigrant-friendly politicians in the races involving the U.S. House of Representatives. The House of Representatives led by Republicans have done nothing to advance the immigration reform bill even though the bill was passed by the Democratic-controlled Senate over one year ago.
I am not an immigrant. I am an American-born woman who understands my indigenous roots long before the Mayflower landed on Plymouth Rock. And even though advocating for the immigrant rights movement will not affect whether I remain in our Nation or not, I continue to promote voting and legal immigration reform to help my fellow mankind. I consider Claudia Longo, a TNTweeter and dynamic undocumented woman who is committed to enfranchisement of undocumented citizens who continue to make positive contributions to our society (see below). As an American voter I choose to demonstrate my patriotism by casting my vote for her come Election Day on November 4, 2014, because she is a voice from the 11 million who cannot vote (and does not limit her advocacy to just the DREAM Act).
I think the time has come to speak for those who are here and dream of being American. Those here who are proud of the country that opened their arms and gave them a second chance. It’s time to fight for full rights not just a temporary relief that will keep us, still, as second class citizens and continue to keep us in fear because it could be revoked at anytime. I and we … the other millions of undocumented people would like to see the advocates who say they care for us and fight for our cause and humane treatment to listen to our voice and fight for comprehensive immigration reform. We don’t have time for half measures. -- Claudia Longo
Finally, if undocumented immigrants are given a piece meal option that does not put them on a path to citizenship, I will look back at the TeaDREAMers, their supporters and those who worked to help anti-immigrant Tea Party Republicans and blame them. They supported the Tea Party Republicans who do not support DACA to begin with and wish to see the undocumented pay taxes without representation and remain as second class citizens.

Deputy Sheriff Bartley Brown of East Los Angeles inspects the haircut of prisoner Alex "Largo" Rodriguez, who is wearing an $85.00 zoot suit June 7, 1943.
El Paso has the ability to turn around Texas statewide elections with the mere Chicano / Latino voting population. [Pay attention candidate Wendy Davis.] Data shows 33 percent of El Paso registered voters haven’t voted in almost a decade, and experts havediscussed solutions. According to the Board of Hispanic Caucus Chairs, "... The role of Hispanics and the Hispanic vote in Texas has become increasingly clear over the past decade. The growth of the Hispanic electorate in particular signals the growing need for political parties, candidates, and political pundits to consider the impact of this electorate on the shape of politics to come..."
El Paso has a serious history with regard to Chicano Movement history. In fact, the term Pachuco is said to have come from El Paso, Texas, where it moved westward, following the line of migration of Mexican railroad workers ("traqueros") into Los Angeles, where it developed further. It was the Pachuco Zoot Suit riots that became a turning point for Chicanos and Latinos. The riots began in Los Angeles, amidst a period of racial tensions between Anglo American servicemen stationed in Southern California and Los Angeles' Mexican-American population. Although Mexican-American men were over-represented in the military as a percentage of their population, many European-American servicemen resented the sight of Latinos socializing in clothing considered extravagant.
According to the Texas State Historical Association, El Paso is also the place where the first national conference regarding La Raza Unida meeting was held, and tremendous Chicano Power came from Texas ranging from La Raza Unida to the American GI Forum via Dr. Hector P. Garcia. More Mexican American / Chicano / Latino power will continue to come from El Paso particularly when we have witnessed Canadian-born and son of Cuban immigrant Republican Senator Ted Cruz use his authority to kick Mexican Americans and their families down.
On Sunday, September 28, 2014, we will encourage Chicano / Latino voters to vote on November 4, 2014 -- Election Day. We will remind the lowrider culture just how powerful our vote can be by giving them the facts with regard to our El Paso voting demographics. As such, we invite you to attend Lincoln Park Day -- a Chicano Art and Car Show where we will be directly asking the lowrider culture to participate in voting and the Cruise To The Polls.

Southern Republican of Alabama via Senator Jeff Sessions is notorious for his bitter obstructionist history. Sessions has history linked to America's racist past. For instance, according to writer Sarah Wildman, "a black former assistant US attorney, Thomas Figures, testified that Sessions had called him "boy", and that he had joked about the Ku Klux Klan in ways that implied he wasn't particularly appalled by their appalling tactics. UPI reported during the hearings on Figures's testimony."
Now Sessions is at it again, except this time he wants to bind and tie President Obama's hands behind his back and the measure is set for vote today.
According to TPM:
The Senate is poised to vote on a Republican-led measure Thursday to prohibit President Barack Obama from unilaterally granting deportation relief to any undocumented immigrant.
The "motion to table" will be pushed by outspoken immigration hawk Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) prior to the vote on a House-passed bill to keep the government funded through Dec. 11 and let Obama arm Syrian rebels to fight the Islamic militant group ISIS.
Sessions' office says he'll bring up the House-approved measure to sunset DACA (Obama's "deferred action" program for qualified young people) and prohibit further executive actions Obama has promised to take after the midterm elections, which is expected to grant temporary deportation relief and work permits for low-priority migrants.
"This is the time. It's either stopped now, or it may never be stopped," Sessions said.
Senator Jeff Sessions is guilty of wasting tax payer resources and money that could be used on the Republican-led House of Representatives. Everyone knows the Democratic-led Senate already passed immigration reform almost one and a half years ago, and the whole legal immigration reform issue would be resolved if the Do-Nothing House of Representatives led by Republicans woulld simply DO SOMETHING and pass the bill the Senate passed over a year ago.
In other words, Republicans would rather spend energy to "bind or block" the President instead of fixing the clearly broken immigration system. My fellow Americans, those are your tax payer dollars going to work. It's time to #DumpTheTea.
