Letter From A Mexican American To Donald Trump
Dear Mr. Trump,
As a former fan of your NBC show, and as a 41 year old Mexican man I would like to share a bit of who I am.
I'm a husband, a father, and a dreamer, living in San Diego Ca. I am born in Tijuana Mexico and I follow the opportunities this great country has allowed me. I may not be the best example of what some believe as "living the American Dream" but I try my best to make a difference in my community and try to inspire others to do the same.
My mother brought me here at the age of 2 and did the best she could to provide without taking a single job from an American citizen she created her own opportunities. My mother was not a drug dealer, certainly not a rapist, and definitely didn't have the amount of problems that you currently have! So when you say "Mexico does not send their best", I beg to differ. There are so many more Mexicans here just like my mother that we consider to be "THE BEST" and we invite you to our community to meet them.
I could introduce you to a few good Latinos that could have written some great speeches for you if given the opportunity, however, your shot at winning the Latino vote is over! So, instead of taking the word from a few "border guards", how about you take a tour of Chicano Park, meet some families from Sherman Heights, come down and visit San Ysidro, walk thru some Chula Vista and National City streets and meet some of the good people that might have voted for you! Don't just assume that there may be some good ones, come see for yourself, then Thank Mexico for sending their best!
Ruben Torres

Independent Voter Watch: Extremist Tea Party Carl DeMaio hires regional director sending sexist / racist tweets!
Independent voters knew the extremist San Diego Tea Party Candidate via Carl DeMaio was corrupt, but we now see his regional director making sexist and racist remarks.
Don't believe me? Kelly Davis retweeted DeMaio's director and called his racism and sexist remarks to the carpet. Good job, Kelly. Keep the male chauvinist and racist moron's feet to the fire. He clearly represents the tea party to the "T."
Time For El Paso -- "El Chuco" To Turn Texas Elections Around
Deputy Sheriff Bartley Brown of East Los Angeles inspects the haircut of prisoner Alex "Largo" Rodriguez, who is wearing an $85.00 zoot suit June 7, 1943.
El Paso has the ability to turn around Texas statewide elections with the mere Chicano / Latino voting population. [Pay attention candidate Wendy Davis.] Data shows 33 percent of El Paso registered voters haven’t voted in almost a decade, and experts havediscussed solutions. According to the Board of Hispanic Caucus Chairs, "... The role of Hispanics and the Hispanic vote in Texas has become increasingly clear over the past decade. The growth of the Hispanic electorate in particular signals the growing need for political parties, candidates, and political pundits to consider the impact of this electorate on the shape of politics to come..."
El Paso has a serious history with regard to Chicano Movement history. In fact, the term Pachuco is said to have come from El Paso, Texas, where it moved westward, following the line of migration of Mexican railroad workers ("traqueros") into Los Angeles, where it developed further. It was the Pachuco Zoot Suit riots that became a turning point for Chicanos and Latinos. The riots began in Los Angeles, amidst a period of racial tensions between Anglo American servicemen stationed in Southern California and Los Angeles' Mexican-American population. Although Mexican-American men were over-represented in the military as a percentage of their population, many European-American servicemen resented the sight of Latinos socializing in clothing considered extravagant.
According to the Texas State Historical Association, El Paso is also the place where the first national conference regarding La Raza Unida meeting was held, and tremendous Chicano Power came from Texas ranging from La Raza Unida to the American GI Forum via Dr. Hector P. Garcia. More Mexican American / Chicano / Latino power will continue to come from El Paso particularly when we have witnessed Canadian-born and son of Cuban immigrant Republican Senator Ted Cruz use his authority to kick Mexican Americans and their families down.
On Sunday, September 28, 2014, we will encourage Chicano / Latino voters to vote on November 4, 2014 -- Election Day. We will remind the lowrider culture just how powerful our vote can be by giving them the facts with regard to our El Paso voting demographics. As such, we invite you to attend Lincoln Park Day -- a Chicano Art and Car Show where we will be directly asking the lowrider culture to participate in voting and the Cruise To The Polls.

Michael Ballard Owner of Full Throttle Saloon in Sturgis Says He Won't Invite Ted Nugent Back To Lakota-land
Ted Nugent is banned from performing at the Sturgis, South Dakota Full Throttle Saloon Bar moving forward.
Michael Ballard who has a net worth of $5 million dollars and owner of Full Throttle decided profits over principles in Lakota country in Sturgis, South Dakota. Pretty cheap and pathetic if you ask me. Even though he is a millionaire and could have done the right thing aside from the $150,000.00 he had his eyes on with the Ted Nugent concert, he is on record via Lakota Territory News TV where he states:
Nugent has made headlines recently after two casinos canceled concerts with him, citing racist remarks. The Full Throttle Saloon had Nugent on the schedule for the main stage Wednesday night. Local Native Americans gathered around the Saloon with signs to protest him.
James Swan, president of The Urban Warrior Society, says he's protesting Nugent over accusations that Nugent called natives 'unclean vermin.' "Ted Nugent, you're a slob. You're an evil, horrible being, and Native Americans don't want you to like us," said Swan. "We don't want you to wear our head dress, we don't want you to act like you're native, because you're not."
Michael Ballard, owner of Full Throttle Saloon, says Nugent was booked a year ago, and if he knew about this issue sooner, he wouldn't have booked Nugent. He says the Throttle is not a racist establishment. "I can't turn around and walk away from $150,000," said Ballard. "I mean that's the nuts and bolts of it. Now that we're made aware of it, we'll listen to it next time."
Ballard says he won't be booking Nugent in the future, unless things are resolved between Nugent and Native Americans.
I called James Magaska Swan of Urban Society Warriors with regard to Ted Nugent never performing at the Full Throttle Saloon again, and he stated:
It's all about the money. Here's the thing though, realistically the chances of Ted Nugent performing here were zero to none anyway, so there really is no value to this when Michael Ballard had the opportunity to do the right thing anyway.
If Ballard wants to reconcile with Native Americans in Lakota country, he can begin with an apology to Native Americans and sponsor an outdoor free "reconciliation concert" for Native peoples with Native performers. The hurt has already been done.
A new boycott of Full Throttle Saloon will be initiated in Lakota country until reconciliation and healing begins because Michael Ballard condoned racism with hosting the Ted Nugent concernt.
When I asked Swan what his views were with regard to Ballard not walking away from $150,000.00, he said:
It boils down to Ballard's actions when he began banning Native Americans from his facebook page for voicing opposition to the Ted Nugent concert. He ignored Native Americans and our supporters. Now he is just trying to put out fires, but it is too late. The hurt has been done.
I asked AIM Secretary via Karla Cheyenne what her views were with regard to the fall out of the Ted Nugent concert and she said:
According to our treaty, Sturgis is part of Lakota land and Michael Ballard, owner of Full Throttle Saloon did not listen to us when we told him we did not want Ted Nugent in Lakota land for his racism against the Native Americans.
Full Throttle is on Lakota land, and we expect him to honor and respect the treaty. It goes back to honoring our treaty.
