If it isn’t the Mexicans, it’s the Muslims with Donald Trump.
Yesterday while in North Carolina, Donald Trump initiated a call to ban all Muslims from the United States. Though late in the game, Republicans are finally speaking out against Trump. House Speaker Paul Ryan condemned Donald Trump's Muslim comments quickly and said: “"Freedom of religion is a fundamental constitutional principle...This is not conservatism what was proposed yesterday, is not what this party stands for and more importantly it's not what this country stands for.”
Because Chicanos/Latinos and Hispanics are the fastest growing demographic in this Nation, let’s not forget how the GOP leaders said little come November 2016 election day when Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump referred to Mexicans as rapists and murderers. The Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus is responsible for their low diversity outreach and we look forward to the Party of Responsibility reaping what they sow come election day. Reince turned a blind eye to hate rhetoric that sent a signal trickling downward throughout the GOP ranks that essentially said hate against other ethnic groups and religious organizations is okay.
Ohio Tea Party Ted Nugent Empathizer Gives Native Americans the Finger While Breaking Law At Indian Creek Amphitheater
These photos are from Ohio's American Indian Movement (AIM):
American Indian Movement of Ohio's album.
On August 9, 2014 the American Indian Movement of Ohio, AIM Indiana/Kentucky and AIM of Central Texas and other supporters from the region and California converged on the small town of Riley, Ohio to protest Ted Nugent because of his continued racist comments about Native Americans. With a total of twenty three protesters in attendance we made our feelings known. We did have many people coming up to us asking why we were protesting him. When telling them why they were surprised because they did not know that he was saying these thing about the people. It felt great to educate these people and they too seemed grateful to learn. There were a few people flipping us the bird but what was really shocking was as one car passed us, a very young boy was video taping us and flipping us off at the same time. This to us is not only disturbing but physical proof that racism is something that is taught and learned. it is perpetuated by ignorant adults and parents. It is my personal view that this is actually a form child abuse.
On a side note, please report these photos to the Oxford Police Department and report this tea party Nugent empathizer for breaking traffic laws.

Go Alvarez! Race for San Diego mayor within 1 point, according to 10News/U-T San Diego poll
There is too much extremism in San Diego, and we are pulling for moderate David Alvarez to win the San Diego Mayoral race.
According to 10 News, this will be a close race!
A last-minute surge for David Alvarez has propelled him to within one point of Kevin Faulconer for San Diego Mayor.
Results of the latest 10News/U-T San Diego pollhave Faulconer with 47 percent and Alvarez with 46 percent. Seven percent of likely San Diego voters are still undecided.
Can Alvarez pull it off? “He did in the general election,” explained pollster Jay Leve. “You have to be struck by the resilience of Alvarez and his followers.”
Compared to an identical 10News/U-T San Diego poll released two weeks ago, Faulconer is down two points, Alvarez is up two points.
According to the 10News/U-T San Diego poll, Latino voters now break 2:1 for Alvarez, whose support can no longer be characterized just as "young." Alvarez leads today, though modestly, among voters age 64 and younger. Faulconer's statistically insignificant 1-point advantage in the contest comes entirely from voters age 65+, among whom he leads by 17 points.
Women have broken sharply, late, for Alvarez. In three earlier polls, women divided evenly between the two candidates; now, newly, Alvarez leads by nine.
Upper-income voters have moved to Alvarez. One month ago, Faulconer led among the wealthiest San Diegans by 24 points. Today, Faulconer trails by two, a 26-point swing to Alvarez
Independent voters have begun to take a 2nd look at Alvarez. He had trailed among Independents by 23 points, now by 10.
Alvarez has closed the gap among moderates: at one point he had trailed by 21, now trails by five.
The contest is now even among those have started college and among those who have finished college. Both of these findings are improvements for Alvarez.

Women, Latino, Key Swing Independent Voters Cite Carmen On Why Republican Speaker Boehner Should Finish CIR Business Before Christmas Break
Phoenix, AZ – Yesterday, the Arizona’s state police agency says one of its officers has resigned following the discovery that she was in the United States as an undocumented immigration after being brought from Mexico at a young age. According toKPHO, Department of Public Safety spokesman Bart Graves says Carmen Figueroa apparently was told by her family that she was born in the United States, though she was actually born in Mexico. She was forced to resign.
The Carmen Figueroa incident is another example of a woman who demonstrated her hard work and contributions to our American society with regard to public safety. She lost her job and the economic impact this has on her and other families is another example of why legal immigration reform must be dealt with. In a matter of months, the loss of her job could be devastating to her family. This DPS officer is getting overwhelming support from compassionate people who see her as a contributing member of our society.
Women voters and the burgeoning Mexican American / Latino vote have witnessed Speaker John Boehner and most of the Republican House Representatives obstruct the advancement of legal comprehensive immigration reform in 2013. They are not budging on advancing a bipartisan bill supported by our Republican Senator John McCain that would fix the broken immigration system. A piece meal approach supported by restrictionist Republicans will not work because it does not give an incentive to the undocumented to pay more into the tax system when a path to earned citizenship is not on the table. Many undocumented are already skeptical a “DACA for all” system would merely be used for tracking purposes when the government wants to look for them and deport them later on. Note: Many DREAMers have not fully taken advantage of DACA that was implemented by the Obama administration.
Thus far, we have witnessed Republican Speaker Boehner’s office berating and scaring small children and women voters from his office with Capitol security guards for praying and singing Christmas carols outside his office in support of immigration reform because they do not want to see their mom or dad deported. We saw Speaker Boehner ignore those who have been fasting for families, he ignored Cardinal Dolan’s letter, and so forth. RNC Reince Priebus has lied to Hispanic voters when he stated he wanted reach out to Hispanic voters, but none of these leaders are moving forward with urgency on fixing the No.1 issue that is important to us — immigration. The message is clear to Women and Hispanic voters: Republican House of Represenative leaders such as Speaker Boehner and Eric Cantor do not care about Latino families until they seek and beg our votes come election time.
Since Speaker Boehner is causing women and Hispanic voters to wait for an undetermined time, perhaps it would be a better idea for #WomenVoters who empathize for families and children to vote out obstructionist Republicans come 2014 while we wait. With Democrats taking the House of Representatives, the Latino community may get a better legal comprehensive immigration reform deal than what the GOP is wanting to give us.
Women and Hispanic voters will remember how the Republican-led House of Representatives scheduled themselves for an almost 3 week vacation while unfinished business remains in 2013 as GOP House of Representatives continue to leave Americans and our national security weakened with so many living in the shadows. In light of today’s technology, every person living in our Nation should be documented from a security standpoint. Yet there are millions living here without documentation, and Republicans continue to drag their feet leaving us exposed because they do not support a legal mechanism in order for this to happen. The House GOP knows the United States simply cannot afford to deport 11 million immigrants, and are good for the economy and tax revenues they contribute.

Conservative Rush Limbaugh Created 2014 Political Death Wish For GOP By Attacking Pope Francis
Rush Limbaugh did the Democratic Party a big favor today. Just when you think the Republican Party could not get worse, Conservative talking show host Rush Limbaugh proves us wrong when he attacked Pope Francis with regard to social justice. This comes to no surprise to us considering the many Republicans who fear the influence of Catholic voters and their attacks on the Pope will only cause Catholics to coalesce.
Rush Limbaugh doesn't believe our immigration system is broken despite the Arizona Governor Jan Brewer who said and made it clear to the nation that it is when she signed the controversial anti-immigrant Senate Bill 1070. Informed Mexican American and Latino voters have known for years the influence John Tanton has had when his movement hijacked the Republican Party. Many party leaders don't know that John Tanton helped build Michigan's Planned Parenthood abortion clinics, yet, they take marching orders from a crazy man who thinks over population will ruin the globe.
According to Political Research:
Founded in 1979 by John Tanton in Washington D.C., one of FAIR’s main goals is to overturn the Immigration & Nationality Act (INA) of 1965. The INA ended a decades-long racist quota system that limited immigration to mostly While Northern Europeans. Current FAIR President Dan Stein has called INA “a key mistake in national policy” and “a source of error.”
FAIR has received criticism over the years for its links to eugenicists and white supremacists. Garrett Hardin, a now deceased biologist and board member of FAIR wrote in his 1968 paper “Tragedy of the Commons” that “[the] freedom to breed is intolerable.” Current board member Donald A. Collins frequently writes for VDARE.com, an anti-immigration site. In the infamous 1988 “WITAN memos”, published in the Arizona Republic, founder John Tanton warned of the “Latin onslaught” in America and the low “educatability” of Latinos. He also expressed concern that the Catholic Church would capitalize on the faith of Latinos to exert more political influence in the U.S. FAIR has also come under fire for taking grant money from the Pioneer Fund, a controversial nonprofit organization who share FAIR’s eugenicist ideologies. FAIR frequently promotes The Social Contract Press, a press program that routinely publishes race-baiting articles written by white nationalists, founded by John Tanton in 1990.
Now keep in mind, we know many Republicans support the views of Rush Limbaugh and his rhetoric, and I'm confident a good chunk of his listeners are those who belong to one of the John Tanton networks. In fact, Republican Party leaders have been pandering recently to the pro lifer people within the Hispanic community in Texas with regard to the Wendy Davis vs. Greg Abbot race, because they know that a good chunk of Latinos are members of the Catholic Church. According to the PEW RESEARCH, there have been some striking demographic shifts. For example, the U.S. Catholic population has been heavily shaped by immigration and includes a rising share of Latinos. This is evident in the age structure of the U.S. Catholic population, in which nearly half of Catholics under age 40 are Hispanic (47%), compared with about one-in-six (16%) Catholics 65 and older.
That said, Rush Limbaugh has now become a liability for the Republican Conservatives. His attacks on the Pope of Rome is a death wish for the GOP.
You don't attack the Catholic Pope of Rome without the consequences.
GOP Playing 2013 Russian Roulette With Hispanic Vote Despite Past Political Lessons Learned
The GOP is playing Russian roulette with the Mexican-American / Hispanic vote again.
On April 23, 2010, the Arizona Governor Jan Brewer stated:
“Senate Bill 1070 – represents another tool for our state to use as we work to solve a crisis we did not create and the federal government has refused to fix …”
Yet, three years later it remains unfixed and Speaker Boehner is to blame.
A trip to memory lane will recall when Republican Senate Candidate Sharron Angle (pro life politician) took a very bad risk when she demonized Latinos in her infamous political advertisements that reeked of bigotry. According to Latino Decisions, Senate Candidate Sharron Angle of Nevada only received 8% of the burgeoning Hispanic vote vs. Senator Harry Reid's 90%. Despite multiple lessons and warnings given to the GOP, it appears conservative Republicans still want to demonize Latino communities. Texas Republican Rep. Lamar Smith said the bipartisan legal comprehensive immigration reform (CIR) bill is worse than we thought, when in fact, Republican President George W. Bush pushed for a more lenient reform bill. This Gang of Eight bill is not 'worse' as Rep. Smith claims, in fact, it proves how much we have compromised since the Bush years.
But the real insult to our intelligence are with those Republican leaders who want the Hispanic pro life voters to support their pro life agenda while pro life organizations support organizations that profit from throwing Mexican-American and/or Hispanics in jail. Catholic Cardinal Dolan sent a letter to Speaker John Boehner with regard to the urgency of immigration reform and it is getting ignored. He warned the GOP House of Representatives to get their act together on immigration reform and it is getting ignored. Yet come 2014, we will see the Republican Party and RNC Chairman Reince Priebus try to trick Hispanic and Women voters with regard to caring about immigration, pro life, Hispanics and women. Fixing the broken immigration system is a pro life issue when thousands of Mexicans die crossing the harsh desert to achieve the American dream. They don't build Mayflower boats to get here.
It does not help when we see some of the oldest pro life organizations affiliating themselves with American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC). Pro life leaders and organizations lose credibility when their fingerprints are found on organizations like ALEC who appear to embrace a culture of death, and their pro life efforts targeting Hispanic and women voters in key races will have little merit until they do away with those fingerprints.
If one is going to call themselves pro life, perhaps they ought to essentially support it from a womb to the tomb standpoint. Billions of our American tax payer dollars are being spent on detaining immigrants who get caught for working in agricultural fields, car washes, fast food restaurants and etc. We are well aware the private prison industry would take a huge hit if immigration reform passes – private prison systems who receive government subsidies where millions of our tax payer money is wasted. Millions of our taxpayer dollars are wasted because of lawsuits, and I believe we ought to reconsider private prison systems because the incentive to make more profit dollars seem to outweigh basic and humane treatment of human beings.
But these disturbing stories do not only affect immigrants – they affect American women, too. I am especially disturbed in hearing stories about women in private prisons owned by Corrections Corporation of American refusing Autumn Miller’s cries for medical attention. She says the guards gave her a menstrual pad and locked her in a cell. As a result, Miller says in a lawsuit filed in Dallas federal court, on June 14, 2012, “She looked down and watched, in horror, as she delivered baby Gracie into the toilet.” The infant lived for four days and died in her mother’s arms.
According the the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), Speaker Boehner is an alumnus. The Nation’s Hidden History of ALEC and Prison Labor reveal their role in expanding prison systems. According to their report, prison labor for the private sector was legally barred for years, to avoid unfair competition with private companies. But this has changed thanks to the ALEC, its Prison Industries Act, and a little-known federal program known as PIE (thePrison Industries Enhancement Certification Program). An In These Times investigation revealed that ALEC arranged secret meetings between Arizona’s state legislators and CCA to draft what became SB 1070, Arizona’s notorious immigration law, to keep CCA prisons flush with immigrant detainees. ALEC has proven expertly capable of devising endless ways to help private corporations benefit from the country’s massive prison population.
Lack of leadership within pro life organizations may have fueled the culture of death, and I know this because few stepped up to the plate when our 14th amendment rights were being attacked by the Republicans they endorsed via Birthright Citizenship. Informed Hispanic voters remember how Tom Tancredo (memorable anti-immigrant politician) received a a 100% rating from National Right to Life.
To conclude, Mexican American Chicano Latino voters are exactly where we need to be for 2014 an 2016. We are the key swing voters, and many of us are registered independent voters. Republicans like Sharron Angle wanted the public to believe we were all Democratic voters, thereby trying to get Anglos to believe we were a ‘lost cause’. We are not a lost cause. We’re more powerful placing ourselves in a position of leverage because we know we are the fastest rising demographic in the Nation, and we want both sides of the aisle to work harder for our vote.
